East River Crawler Temporarily Removed

Due to mechanical issues, East River Crawler will not operate during the 2012 season. The ride is currently in the process of being disassembled. The ride is expected to return in 2013. Instead of leaving the area empty for a year like what happened with Triple Play in 2006, the park will be reinstalling the Buzzy Beez kiddie ride in East River Crawler's place for the 2012 season.

Welcome

This blog will feature extensive updates about Six Flags Great America including new rides, entertainment, merchandise, food, etc. Basically, anything that changes at the park. There may also occasionally be updates from other parks I visit. There won't be a lot of action here quite yet as the park is still closed for the season, but I will have detailed updates and pictures from opening weekend and X-Flight Media Day coming soon. For now, enjoy a few shots of the park getting ready for the 2012 season.

                 X-Flight started testing last week, unfortunately it did not run while I was at the park.
